Membership Engagement Survey Report

In January of 2021, the ARCS Membership Committee released a survey to our colleagues. We wanted to understand who we are serving and how we could keep improving our work. 289 individuals participated from different organizations and professional paths

We asked questions ranging from demographics and priorities to mentorship and programming. We asked how participants are feeling about their work, and how COVID-19 has impacted their careers. We also asked what kinds of opportunities ARCS could provide to address the concerns facing our field.

National Heritage Responder Recruitment

Are you interested in becoming a National Heritage Responder? We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a national training in 2022 to expand the National Heritage Responders volunteer corps!

The National Heritage Responders training will take place over the course of several months in 2022. Participants will be expected to complete several online curriculum modules from February - April 2022. On May 13 and 14, 2022, participants will need to be on site in Los Angeles, California to participate in the in-person training component. Participants must complete all aspects of the training, including an exam following the in-person portion, to serve as an NHR volunteer.

The NHR training will immediately precede AIC's 50th Annual Meeting, which will take place May 15-17, 2022 in Los Angeles.

The application deadline is December 15, 2021.
